The culinary creative studio STUDIØ 27 presents an intimate ephemeral dining experience at Mix

STUDIØ 27, a culinary creative studio that blends the worlds of gastronomy, fashion, design, and contemporary art, is hosting a public event for the first time. The TATAMI DINNERS will take place on February 19 and 20 at the TATAMI STUDIO at the Brussels hotel Mix.

Featuring a unique setting inspired by the concept of a "listening room," a carefully curated 5-course dinner, and a special vinyl playlist, this event offers 60 exclusive guests per evening an immersive, sensory, and culinary experience.

This exclusive experience reimagines the act of gathering through the minimalist elegance of Japanese-inspired design. Hosted in the serene Tatami room, the evening draws on traditional low tables and natural materials—ceramics, textiles, and cork—to create a tactile, earthy ambiance.

Founded by Brussels chef Paul Antoine — Polo — Bertin, who is also the creator of the bakeries Grain, wine bar Rebel, and former restaurant Ötap, STUDIØ 27 designs unique culinary experiences and impressive installations where gastronomy, design, art, and architecture converge. With a diverse team of talented designers, architects, florists, and technical experts, the studio has organized events and dinners for renowned brands such as Louis Vuitton, Audemars, Massimo Dutti, Repetto, Coperni, Evian, and Courrèges.

This is the first time STUDIØ 27 is organizing an event where tickets can be purchased. With a capacity of 60 seats per evening, guests will have the opportunity to reserve their spot and, if desired, a room in the adjacent 4-star hotel Mix. Mix is a multifaceted space that combines a 180-room hotel, restaurants, a food market, co-working areas, and wellness & gym facilities, all designed with a focus on creating a true community. The building, formerly known as La Royale Belge, has been transformed into a destination that merges hospitality, art, and design.
