About QG Gallery
QG Gallery was founded in 2017 by Quentin Grosjean, a Belgian dealer with a big passion and deep knowledge of twentieth century art. The gallery has two locations, one in Knokke and one in Brussels and is representing artists and their estates in addition to developing markets within neglected aspects of the secondary art dealing field.
His gallery’s renown has been based upon his adeptness at formulating stringently curated thematic exhibitions, often with an idea of rediscovery and with a determination to approach this work with museological rigor.
The gallery’s ambition is to highlight the most important periods and ideas of Art History by featuring internationally renowned artists across two locations in Knokke and Brussels.
Grosjean is also interested in showing groupings of artists that share ideas, and in creating connections or a lineage within a movement, in that way that he can also highlight a few of them that he finds underrated, and then make the connection with very established artists. "It sort of shines a new light on their work, sometimes successfully so, when they get viewed within a context like this. Collectors then have the opportunity to rediscover somebody", Grosjean states.
