New ceramic tables and cutlery by Muller Van Severen for HAY

The Belgian design duo Muller Van Severen continues its collaboration with HAY by adding two new objects: the Ceramic Table and the MVS Cutlery & Serving Spoons.

”We really enjoy our collaboration with Muller Van Severen,” says Mette Hay. ”They come from fine art and sculpture, so they do relatively minimalistic products but with a very strong sense of materials and proportions. It’s hard to think of a better match for HAY than Muller Van Severen.”

Ceramic Table

​The Ceramic Table is a perfect example of the Belgian designers’ signature minimalistic expression. With a porcelain tabletop standing on a concrete base, it draws together a strong sense of proportions and a solid presence of colour. Its simplicity and intuitive design give it a universal appeal that makes it suitable for a wide range of cafés, gardens, and other private public spaces.

MVS Cutlery & Serving Spoons

​Another addition to the collaboration between HAY and Muller Van Severen is the MVS Cutlery and Serving Spoons: a collection of distinctive and functional mealtime utensils that bring a modern and elegant touch to everyday table settings. ​

​The combination of brushed stainless steel and painted handles creates a strong visual contrast, which can be amplified by mixing up the range of colours: dark blue, green and yellow. The cutlery blends seamlessly with all kinds of dining tables thanks to the Belgian designers’ characteristically pared-back approach and considered use of colour.
