In Panarea, a confidential holiday home with spectacular views by Les Maisons CAB

Perched high above Panarea in northern Sicily, Casa Bibi is a holiday destination in its own right. With its breathtaking Mediterranean views, sun-drenched terraces and a collection of contemporary artworks, this property embodies the unique lifestyle and spirit of Les Maisons CAB.
Les Maisons CAB is a collection of ten holiday residences around the world conceived by the CAB Foundation, created by Belgian contemporary art collector Hubert Bonnet. Each house has been furnished with contemporary artworks from the Foundation's collection, avant-garde sculptures and and iconic designer furniture from the 1950s to the 1970s.
Casa Bibi, a Mediterranean retreat between nature, design and contemporary art
Nestled on the most exclusive of the Aeolian Islands, Casa Bibi offers exceptional panoramic views over the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean and the surrounding volcanic relief. Designed as an intimate and light-filled retreat, this 400 m² property can accommodate up to 13 people in an elegant and relaxed atmosphere.
Designed to accommodate families and groups in absolute comfort, Casa Bibi offers guests remarkable flexibility throughout their stay. Several living areas are spread throughout the property, allowing everyone to enjoy both convivial gatherings and more private moments.
Casa Bibi's charm lies not only in its architecture and spectacular views, but also in its privileged location on Panarea. Renowned for its tranquillity and unspoilt atmosphere, the smallest inhabited island of the Aeolian archipelago offers a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Accessible only by boat or helicopter, it preserves a rare sense of serenity, with its whitewashed alleyways, hidden coves, secluded beaches, and dramatic volcanic scenery.
The property is built around vast outdoor spaces designed to embrace the Sicilian sunshine. Rooftops with breathtaking views, shaded terraces, lush Mediterranean gardens, a swimming pool and outdoor showers scattered among the vegetation create an idyllic setting for relaxation and contemplation.
Inside, the living spaces showcase a warm and understated aesthetic, where natural materials meet vintage design and contemporary art. The sea-facing bedrooms offer the privilege of waking up to uninterrupted views of the Mediterranean horizon.
Like each of the properties in the Les Maisons CAB collection, Casa Bibi is distinguished by its unique artistic curation. Designer furniture from the 1950s to the 1970s, sculptures and contemporary works create a refined universe in harmony with the soul of the island.
Artist Mathis Bensimon has created a vibrant, sun-filled mural inspired by the colours and energy of Panarea. A artwork by Meryem Bayram completes this artistic immersion with a visual language combining abstraction and geometry, transforming the house into a veritable aesthetic experience.

About CAB Homes
Les Maisons CAB continues the spirit of the CAB Foundation, based in Brussels and Saint-Paul-de-Vence, renowned for its commitment to minimal and conceptual art. Inspired by the legacy of Constructivism right up to the present day, the Foundation defends artists whose work is distinguished by its rigour, coherence and singularity.
Designed to be fully lived in, the CAB Houses offer places to rent where art and design are not limited to contemplation, but become part of everyday life. Each residence is furnished with contemporary works of art, avant-garde sculptures and furniture by iconic designers from the 1950s to the 1970s, forming a collection of exceptional holiday homes around the world.
From Brussels to Paris, via the Dominican Republic, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, London and Geneva, the ten CAB Houses are spread across Europe and the Caribbean. Each location - from Jean Prouvé's modular house in Saint-Paul-de-Vence to the Mediterranean retreat of Panarea - has been carefully renovated in collaboration with renowned architects, including Marc Corbiau, Louis-Herman de Koninck, Charles Zana, Christophe Gevers, Louis Vincent and Jean-Jacques Honegger.
The CAB Houses house pieces by iconic designers such as Jean Prouvé, Alvar Aalto, Hans Wegner, Charlotte Perriand and India Mahdavi. The works of art on display come directly from the CAB Foundation collection. Some of the residences also feature works in situ, such as Sol LeWitt's mural at the Villa Paquebot in Knokke and Mathis Bensimon's fresco at Casa Bibi in Panarea, Italy.
