    "body": "<p>Du 27 septembre 2026 au 27 juin 2027, Herbert Foundation pr&eacute;sentera &lsquo;All Tomorrow&rsquo;s Parties&rsquo;, une exposition consacr&eacute;e aux films et aux imprim&eacute;s d&rsquo;Andy Warhol (Pittsburgh 1928 - New York 1987). Tout au long de l&rsquo;exposition, une s&eacute;lection r&eacute;guli&egrave;rement renouvel&eacute;e de films - 22 au total - pr&ecirc;t&eacute;s par l&rsquo;Andy Warhol Museum sera pr&eacute;sent&eacute;e. L&#039;exposition, agr&eacute;ment&eacute;e de nombreux livres, revues et affiches provenant des archives de Herbert Foundation, propose une perspective cibl&eacute;e sur deux aspects souvent n&eacute;glig&eacute;s de la pratique artistique multiforme de Warhol : le cin&eacute;ma et les imprim&eacute;s.</p><p>Toute sa vie durant, depuis ses d&eacute;buts comme illustrateur commercial dans les ann&eacute;es 1950, Warhol est rest&eacute; attach&eacute; &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;criture et &agrave; l&rsquo;&eacute;dition, qui ont toujours fait partie int&eacute;grante de sa pratique artistique. Il s&rsquo;est fait conna&icirc;tre par sa technique de s&eacute;rigraphie et ses portraits de personnalit&eacute;s culturelles et d&rsquo;objets du quotidien. Au milieu des ann&eacute;es 1960, Warhol a &eacute;tendu sa pratique &agrave; la cr&eacute;ation de films, en produisant plus de six cents &oelig;uvres.</p><p>Dans ces deux m&eacute;diums, Warhol emploie un mode de production d&eacute;crit comme \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b \u200b &quot;carefully unplanned&quot;: les conversations enregistr&eacute;es sont transcrites telles quelles sous forme de livre, erreurs incluses, refl&eacute;tant sa pratique cin&eacute;matographique dans laquelle la cam&eacute;ra, une fois install&eacute;e, tourne en continu, avec un minimum d&rsquo;interf&eacute;rences. Le produit final semble spontan&eacute;, voire indiff&eacute;rent dans son ex&eacute;cution, mais, &agrave; y regarder de plus pr&egrave;s, il est construit avec soin. Cette m&eacute;thodologie, qui est au c&oelig;ur de l&rsquo;exposition, r&eacute;v&egrave;le comment les questions de l&rsquo;autorat et du statut de l&rsquo;artiste sont abord&eacute;es &agrave; travers l&rsquo;&oelig;uvre graphique et cin&eacute;matographique de Warhol.</p><p>Le fonctionnement de la Factory, o&ugrave; le processus cr&eacute;atif se d&eacute;ployait &agrave; travers un r&eacute;seau de superstars, d&rsquo;assistants et de participants, a &eacute;galement complexifi&eacute; le personnage romantique de l&rsquo;artiste autonome et la notion sous-jacente d&rsquo;auteur unique. Tout en restant centr&eacute;e sur la pratique artistique de Warhol, l&rsquo;exposition met &eacute;galement en lumi&egrave;re ce mode de production partag&eacute;, situant tant les films que les imprim&eacute;s dans leur milieu culturel &eacute;largi; un contexte &eacute;galement &eacute;voqu&eacute; par le titre de l&rsquo;exposition, emprunt&eacute; &agrave; une chanson de The Velvet Underground, dont Warhol a produit le premier album.</p><hr /><p><strong>L&rsquo;exposition</strong></p><p>L&rsquo;exposition, r&eacute;alis&eacute;e par Herbert Foundation, s&rsquo;ouvre sur une importante pr&eacute;sentation d&rsquo;imprim&eacute;s, Warhol apparaissant comme &eacute;crivain, cr&eacute;ateur de livres et &eacute;diteur. Cette production documente la culture dominante tout en rev&ecirc;tant un caract&egrave;re r&eacute;solument autobiographique, et englobe diff&eacute;rentes exp&eacute;riences avec le livre comme format. Warhol a &eacute;galement fond&eacute; sa propre revue, <em>Interview Magazine</em>, initialement ax&eacute;e sur le cin&eacute;ma.</p><p>L&rsquo;exposition se poursuit par une s&eacute;rie de salles pr&eacute;sentant des films, l&#039;accent &eacute;tant mis dans chacune sur un aspect distinct de la pratique cin&eacute;matographique de Warhol. Une s&eacute;lection de <em>Screen Tests</em> et de premiers films<strong> </strong>caract&eacute;ris&eacute;s par la stase et la dur&eacute;e, comme <em>Empire</em> et <em>Sleep</em>, est suivie de films plus explicitement engag&eacute;s dans la vie contreculturelle, comme <em>Camp</em> et <em>My Hustler</em>. L&rsquo;exposition se termine par des films qui s&rsquo;approprient les tropes narratifs et les formats de genre hollywoodiens, notamment <em>Hedy</em> et <em>Poor Little Rich Girl</em>. Les films projet&eacute;s dans chaque salle changeront plusieurs fois au cours de l&rsquo;exposition, incitant les visiteurs &agrave; revenir &agrave; plusieurs reprises.</p><p>En insistant sur le cin&eacute;ma et les imprim&eacute;s, &lsquo;All Tomorrow&rsquo;s Parties&rsquo; propose de reconsid&eacute;rer la pratique de Warhol, au-del&agrave; de l&#039;importance habituellement accord&eacute;e &agrave; sa peinture. Elle invite les spectateurs &agrave; red&eacute;couvrir un ensemble d&rsquo;&oelig;uvres qui remet en question les distinctions conventionnelles entre les m&eacute;diums, l&#039;autorat et la production culturelle, et &agrave; r&eacute;fl&eacute;chir &agrave; sa r&eacute;sonance durable dans le pr&eacute;sent.</p><hr /><p><strong>Andy Warhol au sein de Herbert Foundation</strong></p><p>Annick et Anton Herbert appartiennent &agrave; une g&eacute;n&eacute;ration de collectionneurs qui, &agrave; partir des ann&eacute;es 1970, se sont investis dans des d&eacute;veloppements radicaux de l&rsquo;art contemporain, au niveau tant national qu&rsquo;international. Pour les Herbert, collectionner ne consistait pas &agrave; acqu&eacute;rir des &oelig;uvres, mais &agrave; s&rsquo;engager sans compromis en faveur des artistes et de leurs pratiques. Cet engagement a g&eacute;n&eacute;r&eacute; un ensemble d&rsquo;&oelig;uvres significatives et des archives exhaustives, qui constituent des &eacute;l&eacute;ments essentiels de leur collection.</p><p>Entre 1973 et 2005, les Herbert ont concentr&eacute; leur collection et leurs archives sur une cinquantaine d&rsquo;artistes. Si Andy Warhol n&rsquo;est pas repr&eacute;sent&eacute; dans leur collection par des &oelig;uvres, il occupe une place importante dans leurs archives. Les livres, affiches et revues de Warhol conserv&eacute;s par Herbert Foundation constituent le point de d&eacute;part de cette exposition. Ces &oelig;uvres imprim&eacute;es sont mises en dialogue avec un choix de films pr&ecirc;t&eacute;s par le Mus&eacute;e Andy Warhol.</p><p>Herbert Foundation explore ainsi la <em>Collection Imaginaire</em> d&rsquo;Annick et Anton Herbert : une s&eacute;lection d&rsquo;artistes, dont certains n&#039;ont aucune &oelig;uvre dans la collection, mais qui n&rsquo;en constituent pas moins des r&eacute;f&eacute;rences intellectuelles et artistiques essentielles pour les Herbert. La <em>Collection Imaginaire</em> offre une perspective g&eacute;n&eacute;rationnelle plus large, qui d&eacute;passe la collection elle-m&ecirc;me. Dans ce contexte, Warhol occupe, pour les Herbert, une position cl&eacute;. Leur int&eacute;r&ecirc;t ne portait pas sur ses &oelig;uvres Pop les plus connues, mais sur ses films et ses &oelig;uvres imprim&eacute;es, car ils reconnaissaient dans ces pratiques une approche radicale, qui contestait les notions conventionnelles de l&rsquo;&oelig;uvre d&rsquo;art, de l&#039;autorat et du monde de l&rsquo;art lui-m&ecirc;me.</p><hr /><p><strong>Programme des &eacute;v&eacute;nements</strong></p><p>L&#039;exposition va de pair avec un vaste programme public, qui en &eacute;largit la port&eacute;e et situe Warhol dans un contexte plus large. Il comprend notamment un programme de projections consacr&eacute; &agrave; ses derniers longs m&eacute;trages avec Paul Morrissey, ainsi qu&rsquo;une importante s&eacute;rie de films r&eacute;v&eacute;lant les affinit&eacute;s et les &eacute;changes entre la pratique cin&eacute;matographique de Warhol et celle d&rsquo;autres cin&eacute;astes. Un symposium proposera une r&eacute;flexion sur la pratique multidimensionnelle de Warhol &agrave; travers diff&eacute;rents m&eacute;diums et formats, ainsi que sur son r&ocirc;le dans la remise en cause des fronti&egrave;res de ce qui pouvait alors &ecirc;tre compris comme l&rsquo;art visuel. </p><hr /><p><strong>&Agrave; propos de Herbert Foundation </strong></p><p>Cr&eacute;&eacute;e par Annick et Anton Herbert, Herbert Foundation est une fondation artistique situ&eacute;e &agrave; Gand, dont la collection et les archives sont centr&eacute;es sur un groupe d&rsquo;artistes internationaux actifs autour 1968 et 1989.</p><p>Depuis 2013, la collection et les archives sont accessibles au public &agrave; travers des expositions, des recherches, des publications et un vaste programme d&rsquo;&eacute;v&eacute;nements. Install&eacute;e dans d&rsquo;anciens b&acirc;timents industriels au centre de Gand, Herbert Foudation dispose de plus de 4 500 m&sup2; d&rsquo;espace d&rsquo;exposition.</p><hr
