Cultural Center of Namur presents the work of 23 artists in residency
From 7 to 21 December 2016, the Cultural Center of Namur presents a multidisciplinary exhibition project: a presentation of the work of 23 artists who did a residency between December 2015 and December 2016 on the site which used to house the slaughterhouse of Bomel.
"Laborattoirs" (the name of the exhibition) is an experiment that is conceived as an introduction to various artists. In line with the mission of the Cultural Center, the exhibition focuses on the discovery of diverse and multidisciplinary work, both in terms of visual arts, lectures and performances, as well as music, circus and theatre. The result is a living exhibition, an experiment in which creativity, curiosity and adventure are the keys to new and surprising encounters.
It is the first time that occurrence of such a presentation. Exactly one year ago, in December 2015, the Cultural Center of Namur started receiving artists-in-residence in the renovated rooms of the former slaughterhouse of Bomel.
